What a good start to the New Year - normally you say 'onwards and upwards' but you want it to be 'onwards and downwards', well done ☀️

Lovely sunset or is it sunrise? Pretty anyway.

Thank you all for your lovely comments i appreciate them. It came as a surprise to me that i had lost anything what with christmas and all the swets i ate. The op was so worth it and i would reccomend it to anyone with the proviso it will be the hardest thing they will do. Once again thank you all very much.xxxxxxx

Congrats!! I can remember going in for my weigh-ins after my surgery. Always excited to see the pounds go down. Are you keeping a journal? And did you do an all over body measurement before you had the surgery? My doctor suggested I do both. I weighed weekly and measured weekly. It really helped loads to actually see it written down on paper. And even on the weeks where I had no weight loss, there was always inch loss. It's been 11 years since my surgery and I still have that notebook to look back on. I know you are so proud of your success, and you should be!! Hugs!

No Vicki i didn't get round to measuring myself, but i can tell by my clothes darling.I pop into my drs each week when i am not at the hospital and they keep tabs on how much weight i am losing. The only journal i am keeping is writing on here about my loss.xxxxxx
