Vitamin D / result from rheumy nurse

Hi folks, to give you an update on the vitamin d I was asking about. I did ring my rheumy nurse and I found that she had recommended that I take 2,000 units daily. I didn't need a 'script for it as 25 micro grams is =to 1,000 units so I would only have to take 2 tablets per day, and I can safely buy them at most supermarkets. Most packs are 25 micro grams. This is what she told me so I hoping that she is correct. She was very nice and reminded me to have regular blood tests and to try to keep away from infection and to keep warm. X
