Went for a bone scan yesterday have been on steroids for a few years but have now come off them reducing the dose for a few months. Went for 10.30am had a radioactive injection . Told to go back for 1.30pm . The procedure was fine had to have my fingers and feet done separately but other then That we were away form home all day very tired when we did get home . The down side was It cost us over £10 in drinks and food and then on top parking charges . Next time will take a picnic! Still glad I have had it done and hoping my bones have not been affected by the steroids won't know anything for at least three weeks but keeping my fingers crossed .

It would be helpful if they had told you what the procedure was and the length of time you would be there so that you could plan for a picnic.
