Hi first time posting here, is it just me who gets fobbed off with there rheumatologist and doctor? My pain is unbearable hands feet shoulders kneck struggling to walk and always tired yet struggle to actually sleep. I seem to be on lots of tablets but it's getting worse fast.
Thanks for reading as I am sure you all know how this feels x

lots of people here have found keeping a diary of their symptoms helpful to show the health professionals. It helps you to present it in a less emotional way and as factually as possible which seems to impress health professionals more.
Thank you I have had ra for over 4 years now just seems to be getting worse been off sick from work for 3 month's as well as now suffering from anxiety and depression so pleased to have found others that can relate. Back at rheumatologist first week of June so hopefully fingers crossed x
Sadly, there are many doctors out there in dire need of slapping. Welcome to the forum, though I'm sorry you have reason to be here. I'm having exactly the same trouble with my rheumy and gp. I'm taking a worker with me for my next rheumy appointment, is there anyone who can help advocate for you? One of the things I've seen recommended is a pain journal, something solid you can show the doctors. Alternately, I'd be happy to come slap them for you. xx Bats
I wish I had the energy to slap lol. My hubby is going to come in next time with me and I've started a pain diary to take along with me. Hope you get more answers at your next appointment. Thank you for your reply x
