I hope so too Denise. Do gather as much supporting evidence from anyone you see re your RD, every bit helps. You completed it in double quick time, I took two days over mine I had so much additional info to add & then it looked like a spider had crawled all over it!

Do keep us updated won't you & I hope you've not too long to wait for your assessment date. x

Don't forget to keep a copy, it's really useful if you have to give further information, and to refresh your memory if you have an interview. Good luck!! M x

Good luck and let us know how it goes, I am due DLA/PIP re- assessment soon too and like you worried about mobility car. I have a lifetime DLA award I guess all we can do is tell it as it is on our bad days and hope it goes our way.

Make sure you include an up to date diary about all of your mobility and other issues over the last sixth months!

Use extra sheets of paper, labelled with your name & NI No., don't try and squeeze everything into their tiny little boxes, it's deliberately drafted so you omit stuff. Take time, days, weeks to fill it in and check out the Benefits and Work website. Don't rush it.

Feel like if I put too much they may think I'm trying it on xxx

Equally, if you don't tell them like it is, you wont get the benefit. The medical evidence from your GP, Rheumatologist etc. will back up what you say. I find it easier to type my replies and print these off, as it makes it easier when reading through and editing. Send the form recorded delivery too. Good luck.
