It is really RA.

Well this morning i had a dentist appt. which i got a clean bill of health there. Hubby went and managed to get me a drs. appt. for 11am an after the dntist we went straight round to the surgery. Saw the dr. and told her how i am feeling. She gave me a good checking over. She did my chest, tempreture and checked my throat as well. She is of the opinion that i am in a flare from my RA after ruling out any viruses or anything else.

So here i am sitting here(well laying) resting again and i have to ride it out until i see the rheumy next month. I am on all the drugs that i can have,so drugs every four hours and praying it goes away. Feeling very sorry for myself today. Thank goodness for my darling hubby who takes such good care of me.Hugs for all.xxxx

At least you've had confirmation it is "just" a flare. I know it is never just but when we have such a big & lasting one it does make you wonder if there's anything underlying doesn't it? You keep hold of your h, they're worth their weight, I've got a good un too so we're both well cared for even when they're not at their best either! x

Poor you Sylvi - rest up and hope you come out of the flare soon. TX

So sorry to hear you are so unwell. It maybe a good idea to contact your Nurse Specialist to see if there is a chance of an appointment with him/her before your scheduled one with your consultant. Some units keep emergency appointments free in clinics so that people flaring can get into see them quickly. They can often offer some interim relief to get you over a flare until a long term treatment plan can be decided upon with your consultant. Worth giving them a call as even if you can't get an emergency appointment the specialist nurse could offer some advice over the phone perhaps.

Wishing you a speedy recovery from your flare.

I can go in and see my nurse anytime i like if she is there, I am seeing her on the 5th of Feb. so not long to wait and i can also ring her up anytime i like so there is no problem there. I have just spoken to her and she has said just to rest as i don't just have RA,i have fibro and cfs as well and she thinks they are all in play and to keep taking all my painkllers and all my other drugs and to ride it out and REST. I hate that word rest. Sorry for having a moan, but am a bit fed up. Thanks for caring, xxxx

Oh Sylvia don't feel bad. You've got a lot going on all at once. I know how you feel, sometimes it feels like we rest our lives away. Hugs
