Please find details of the NRAS group meetings taking place next week:

NRAS Group Meetings—Week Commencing 3rd November 2014

Thanet NRAS Group

Meetings for 2014 will take place bi-monthly at The New Life Family Church, 8 Church Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1ST from 6:45pm-8:15pm on a Monday.

3rd November - Guest speaker: Heather Stevenson, Dietician

Bolton NRAS Group

This NRAS group is coordinated by NRAS Members with the help and support of Senior Sister Beverley Travers. 2014 meetings take place on the first Tuesday of each month at Bolton One, Moor Road, Bolton, BL3 5BN from 2.00pm-4.00pm.

4th November - Guest speaker: Angela Estwick, Occupational Therapist at Bolton One

Chesterfield NRAS Group

Remaining 2014 group meetings will be held at Bridge Street Methodist Church, (also known as Pilsley Methodist Church) Bridge Street, Pilsley, Chesterfield, S45 8HE each month on a Tuesday from 6:30pm-8:00pm.

4th November - Guest speaker Sharon Wood, Rheumatology Physiotherapist will be giving a talk on 'Exercises to Aid Mobility'

Southend-on-Sea NRAS Group

Thelma co-ordinates this NRAS group. Meetings take place bi-monthly at the Salvation Army Citadel (opposite Morrisons), 146-148 London Road, Hadleigh, Essex, SS7 2PF on a Tuesday from 2:00pm to 3:30pm.

4th November - Tea and cake social meeting, an opportunity to meet and talk to the coordinators and members of the group

You, your family, friends and healthcare professionals are all very welcome to attend and you don’t have to be a member of NRAS to attend a group meeting!

Hi bevolyf

Sorry to say there are currently no group meetings in your part of London. We do have a warm lead in Bromley, so hoping that might come to fruition late 2015/early 2016, but i'm afraid I can't make any promises. Your next closest group I think would be Mile End, East London, they are a new group, just launched and currently planning meeting dates for 2015 so do keep a look out on here and on our website for more information on that. nras.org.uk/groups
