Hip,injection tommorow

I had a steroid injection in my hip which was rather uncomfortable but did reduce the pain and was well worth having. Not sure what kind of injection you are having but hope it works ok.

I had two injections in the hips for Bursitis a few months ago, and it was sore, but it was worth it got great relief from pain.

I had injection in my hip, they said i had pockets of fluid in it. They used an ultrasound to guide the injection, so it is safe, if you relax that helps alot, it helped me for about 2 months.

There are a few different ways to inject hips for different problems. I've had bursaes on the outside of my hip injected a few time and it works a treat. I was once close having my hip injected in the groin under x ray control as gallini describes but luckily there was just a smidgen too little fluid to warrant it so I got away with it. How did it go?

I've had a couple of these. It's a bit sore having it done but well worth it when the relief kicks in. Do make sure you use the hip as little as possible for the first day afterwards so the steroid stays where it's put and can get to work as you'll have better results. Good luck xx
