Knees

Well got my appointment for my hip injection at Nuffield 7th October 11-15 anybody else had these ????? X

I had them in both knees and the procedure is not painful. Some people may feel discomfort afterwards for a couple of days but it's worth it. Don't worry just take it as it comes.

Not injections as I'm already on oral steroids but please do see if your GP will prescribe some pain relief for the time being. The more you lose sleep the more difficult it will be to cope with the pain. Been there & wouldn't choose to be there again!

Trying to get in and see my gp is a nightmare had an appointment at 9-10'they rang and cancelled as only have 2 gps on x

If they didn't give you an alternate appointment then I'd insist you see one at the end of morning surgery, preferably face to face if it's feasible. If they cancelled at the last minute they should be able to fit you in, it's only small slot.

Failing that ask if one of the GP's will leave a prescription for you, again they cancelled on you so they should be accommodating. Don't forget to explain why you need short term pain relief.
