Delighted to hear that Jeremy Vine will be featuring Rheumatoid Arthritis and talking to CEO of NRAS on his radio show next Tuesday, 8 July. Radio 2 at 1pm. It'll be good if this raises awareness.

Exciting news, thanks for letting us know. It has massive audience figures (I used to work in charity PR and when we got a slot on the programme phone calls rocketed to the helpline). Hearing this has made my day! :)

How lovely to be told I have made someone's day! Coincidentally, JV's sister is a good friend of mine and I let her use my studio (she's another painter) when I couldn't crawl into it, let alone hold a paint brush.

Hi Jora, thanks for sharing the good news! Ailsa is still due to be on from 1pm and you can listen live at bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006wr3p

It'll be available on iplayer later for those who missed it! I'll keep an eye out for the link :)

Best wishes,

Good to raise awareness of RA & how it effects people, having had the condition 12 years & doing battle with employees, medications, pain, fatigue etc I have been really struggling however I know I'm one of the lucky ones who got diagnosed early. People with RA a tough & determined we have to be to kick its Ass !

Quite agree. The main thing that I personally got from the programme was an enhancement of my gratitude that I didn't get RA earlier and certainly not before there was such helpful medication.

And I love Burton Bradstock! The Music Festival in August, Hive Beach etc. I recently completed a series do paintings based on the area. Jo
