Chest in in bits !!! Doctors this morning

Hi all over the last week my lungs are becoming increasingly sore and im becoming breathless , I have appointment at GP this morning but I dont have much confidence in the surgery as a whole , and the hospital doesnt provide a contact service to rheumatology , anyone have any suggestions ??

I hope your gp will sort it out. Ask him to write the results to the Rheumy . I find when really stuck phoning the rheumies secretary helps , good luck todayx

I agree with allanah, ring your consultants secretary, switchboard will put you through. Shame the rheum nurses don't have an advice line. What medication are you on?

Hi all , story update , went to GP , the first sample of urine said it was a strep bug this one says its ecoli , my rib pain he said may be shingles !! Or my stomach is inflamed from the melioxicam im taking uped my dose of omezaprol to two a day , anyway came home drank four pints of water straight off took the antibiotic and tramadol , just taken my temp and 39.6 so im waiting on out of hours doc to ring

With a temperature that high, I wouldn't wait for the out of hours doc to ring, I'd dial 999 and get an ambulance to take me to hospital. I rang the emergency doc recently when my temp was that high but an hour later they'd still not got back. Dialled 999 and was in hospital 45 mins later. One and a half hours later, the doc rang back and was shocked when OH told her I was already in hospital. Hope you are ok now. xx
