Humira pens

Healthcare at Home excelled themselves - they turned up! Third time lucky, eh?

I've had a look at the Humira pens and they look complicated. Are they easy to inject, does anyone know please?

They are easy, but the nurse will come and help the first time and explain things, just keep them in the fridge til then. xx

They are easy yes! I still don't like the 'pop' it makes as you press the button but that is all! When are you having your first one? I found that a bit harder as you are being watched, less stressful once you have done a few of them. Best wishes.

Thank you. I've injected cimzia and still inject methotrexate but the idea of the pen threw me! The nurse is coming on 24th April. I've asked to wait as I am in the process of completing my dissertation and I'm anxious about feeling ill after the first dose, like I did after cimzia.

Hopefully you won't feel ill after the first one. The only reaction I had after the first one was an itchy spot where the Humira went in, definitely no ill feelings. Best wishes.

Humira pens easy to inject .. just don't be put off by the distinct twang .. you will soon get used to that. xx
