Rheumatoid Arthritis Awareness Week 2014 – Let’s be vocal and make RA visible!

Hi Everyone,

The countdown to this year's RA Awareness Week has begun at NRAS HQ! This will be our second awareness week campaign and after a great effort in 2013, we are asking for your help again to raise the profile of RA and change the public perception of this misunderstood condition. The week will take place from 16th-22nd June so get it in your diary team!

This year, our focus will be on RA being an 'Invisible Disease' and trying to highlight that invisible symptoms such as chronic pain, stiffness and fatigue are very real problems that others don't see and understand. We therefore need you to be vocal about RA to make it visible to those around you!

Find out more about how you can get involved on our website - nras.org.uk/RAWeek

I'll keep you updated about the campaign and I hope you will be able to help us spread the word and change the public perception of RA.

Best wishes,

Ruth Grosart

NRAS Digital Media Coordinator
