So what have u tried. I would actively use heat or cold pads. Also distraction can work so get out a good movie and make yourself concentrate on it.

Have u got an electric over blanket. I have a snugly fleecy one which I put over me on the couch which is lovely.

Have u tried relaxation, again it helps. And be patient, this stage will pass. Xx

I do think it feels like that but keep the faith, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Good idea going out it does help. I even went to cinema with loads of pain killers etc but my way that has worked for the last four years is not to dwell on it, now don't jump down my throat lol, I know how hard that is, you get locked into your pain, so distract, painkillers , move around even though it kills, it helps in the end. Really xxx

Next week things will feel better but get the family to take you in a chair from the hospital door and insist you get maybe a steroid jab before your treatment as of course the drips can take a while to work.

Control your pain, don't let it control you. I now have morphine patches I stick on, they lasta week and help. But Tramadol, NSAIDs , Panadol can all be effective if taken regularly too.

Thanks, I making sure I move around as much as can so dont land up any worse but glad you mentioned it as a lot of people not aware of that. Can't take NDAIDs but on tramadol, cocodamal an zomorph and amitryptline for this and on many others for other things. the dr given me oral morphine to help this patch.

Can't get my folks to use me in a chair as they both disabled themselves and they the only ones who can take me so that's very frustrating. Thanks so much for your advice
