Matt's post is an old one, things have moved on a pace since, he's waiting on a double lung transplant & was ready to have an op but the surgeon wasn't happy with the quality of the donated lungs. thank u nomoreheels i should have cheked post first thank u for letting me know matt having really bad time i do hope u r doing well and not to much pain i havent been great lately my crp was 58 doc said that was really high she getting in touch with rhumy to tell them april to long to wait for appointment so waiting on appointment its my own fault i stopped all rhumy meds when i went into remission now its back with a vengence will let u know the out come got a lot of really bad burning pain is that inflammation sorry didnt mean to go on about mysef take lots of care hope u getting out with doggie off for more blood tests mary xx

I'm sorry to hear you're not doing too well Mary. Well, I suppose if it was drug induced remission or low disease activity. Unfortunately that doesn't mean that you no longer have RD just that the meds are keeping it under good control so we need to keep taking them. I guess you've learnt the hard way so I hope they're able to see you well before April, sounds like it's necessary.

Isn't it a shame about Matt? I do hope he's called back quickly & it's a happier outcome next time.

I'm not doing too badly thanks. Just got over a mini flare & waiting for latest DMARD leflunomide to kick in. Started it in November so maybe next month, I can only hope!

thank u nomoreheels yes i learnt the hard way still waiting on appointment from rhumy its all up my left arm can only lift it so far yes poor matt i hope he gets sorted soon when i hear things like that it makes me think i am so lucky hope your medication kicks in soon u have been waiting a long time lets hope it works soon and u start getting the benefits from it take lots of care and keep warm xx mary
