I thought that would get your attention. It's official I am in love with my paper white Kindle. I can't wait to get between my sheets and switch on. Reading loads more now because I can hold it easier than a heavy book. Also it doesn't make a buzzing noise like some other battery driven devices. It's fab.

New bed fellow
I love my kindle too!!!
Well its obviously inspired you and Im now not in the least surprised that you went to the pub and then came back and posted a picture of your pussy in the kitchen.
Lol
I love mine to I've read 14 books since Christmas and that is a record for me enjoy yours to .
Yes that certainly got my attention! I have a Kindle Fire which I absolutely love but holding it in my hand to read causes terrible pains in my joints as it's really quite heavy. I bought a stand from Amazon to prop it up on the table at home but I have to watch my neck. I hope you continue to enjoy your new bedfellow! Angela x
Couldn't agree more - only trouble is I keep purchasing new books immediately after finishing one!!! Also still buying other books, just love them. absolutely agree that the kindle is better to read in bed.
Don't know if you're aware tansy-ann but Amazon have recently started a lending library for Prime members. If you're buying lots of books it might work out cheaper. I think they've just put the cost up but might be worth investigating. Of course they waited until after I'd just gone mad and bought loads of books!
Yes; I am a member of Amazon prime, trouble is I like to keep books - yes I know it's daft, \I suppose I'm on being a book hoarder - having said that I do read favourites more than once!!
One of my best gifts ever , my son got me one when he saw me trying to read a heavy hardback one day , I love it and the battery life is amazing and I have read so many free downloads from Amazon kindle . Enjoy Sharon x
Yes I agree what thoughtful children we do have.
There are many free or nearly free books available. I have an IPad also but much prefer the kindle for reading. It's not only easier to hold and turn pages but being able to adjust the size of the print and the lack of light make it easy on the eyes. Love mine too.
I had the paperwhite for Christmas and love it, but could anyone tell me about battery life. I only read mine for 1 - 2 hours max nearly every night and am having to charge my battery weekly, is this normal would you say? I was expecting to get usage than that ??
I am always downloading books either from the freebie section or the 99p section. I also buy from the 'daily deal' I would say the most I have spent is £4 on anyone book yet when I purchased from the shops I would spent 8-10 on any one book. I have not got one from the Amazon library yet as I prefer to keep the books to re-read also I will download a good many before reading them.
Once I recently read ended with the suspense still ongoing, so had to purchase the next one and it's still ongoing, the next one not out until September this year and the final instalment April 2015!
