On Tuesday evening I notice a line of three little red itchy spots on the inside of my upper arm. They looked like bites but can't think of any way something would have managed to get through all the layers and then nibble away three times in a straight line! They have since developed into quite firm blisters that itch when they get warm. has anyone else experienced anything like this?
OK here's an odd one for you.: On Tuesday evening I... - NRAS

Hello - not meaning to worry you but I wonder if it could be the start of a shingles rash? The only reason I ask is cos my understanding is that shingles tends to follow the path of a nerve - and can therefore track in a straight line. If it is shingles, you may need some antiviral meds sooner rather than later I think. Hope you find out what it is soon or that it goes quickly of its own accord. If you think it might be shingles you may be able to find a picture of a shingles rash online and see if you think it looks anything like yours.

I agree, when my son's shingles started it was a little line of red dots - I discounted shingles as there were no blisters but they developed later. If you go to the drs or drop in centre with this warn them that it's possible that you might have shingles and they will seat you in a side room until your appt as shingles can be dangerous to people with seriously compromised immune systems. I've had shingles twice myself but the rashes were never in a place where I could see them close up myself! I would get a medical opinion.

Never experienced this but I hope you get some answers soon. i did think shingles when I read it as others have said. x
Thanks guys. Shingles did cross my mind but I thought it usually presented on the body. Also the blisters are in a horizontal line and would expect a vertical line if they are running along the path of a nerve. That said, I do seem to like to do things differently! I'll take myself off to the docs if no improvement over the weekend x
As others have said reaction to meds, I get exactly what you are describing I am on Plaquenil, or it could be shingles, but I had just one spot on my face and that was it with shingles. I am a weirdo though so your best bet as you say is go to your Doc.
