Button down the front brown suede mini skirt and brown knee length boots. The a pale blue Lambs wool Polo neck.

A pinstripe skirt midi length with a fan pleat at the back and an emerald green boucle fitted coat with a real fur collar (would'nt be seen in real fur now, no way), and black pattent stiletto shoes, oh how I'd love to wear those again!

Parker for the ride on the back of a scooter, Black & White Micro Skirt worn with black shirt and white knee length plastic pull on boots. Another fabulous outfit was all plum, plum skirt, blouse, coat, shoes, bag, and full blown plum makeup. I used to feel the bees knees going out in that and the shorter the better. I used to do the bum test before leaving the house, by bending over slightly to see if my knickers showed then I knew how far I could bend or dance! Slutty it all sounds but it was the fashion in the late sixties early seventies.

Now I wear long skirts/dresses or trousers. How sad is that and ageing.

Forgot the hairdo as well, this was completed by my hairdresser friend with her dad's razor blades. The Rod Stewart haircut! Short on top but long straggly bits to the shoulder. What a sight I must have been.

I had a long grey herringbone coat and my fav was my lime green levis with a white stretchy see threw lace shirt but I was a size 8 then

I was a punk for a while - pink hair dyed with crazy colour, black silk drain pipes, a leather jacket and an old towel mat hanging off my backside saying "I hate punk" in pink nail varnish. Before that I was a mod and before that a real saddo whose mum dressed me in horrible itchy stuff that I hated! My great longing was for a maxi coat as a kid. We used to spend Christmas with Scottish grandparents and my sister and I tried to persuade our mum to let us each have a maxi coat from the famous store, Jenners, but we were overruled by tyrant grandmother who insisted on the same old woolen horse hair type things as more practical. I made up for it later though. Wore a long pleated woolen skirt today for meetings at the health board with suits and nurses and sons both fell about laughing and said Ioomed like an old lady - not my usual "trendy" self - their words not mine but I think there's plenty of scope for getting younger and cooler as I age disgracefully?! My blanket coat!

Oh and my gorgeous, sparkly, pink sequinned boob tube that I got when I was 14 and built like a twig! I used to wear it with my Olivia Newton John trousers (like the ones she wears at the end of Grease) I still have that boob tube but it wouldn't fit on one thigh now let alone my boobs!
