Saw the plastic surgeon today. He was very nice but discussed yet more things that could be wrong with me!
However he did say he will do the biopsy next Tuesday or Thursday. So then we will have some proof of what's wrong and can get treated for it, so hood news I think! Axx

Hiya Allanah, I guess it is kinda good news isn't it...at least after the biopsy you'll know how things stand so you can make whatever decision needs to be made. Hope you are ok and not suffering too much. Xx
Steroids wearing off so very sore knees and ankles. Wrists starting up as off RA drugs for the tests , chest breast bone tight like it was when I was first diagnosed . However tomorrow is odiatry then Thursday ultrasound then op next week! Lol can't say they don't taker seriously, think the docs are enjoying maybe finding a rare illness, won't it be funny if it's just plain old RA!
Hi allanah Moving forward and finding out so you can be put on the right treatment with the right diagnosis means a lot....good luck always thinking about you... Nicola xxx
Hospital Specialists now give the good and bad regarding the operations that they under take this is part of choices and benefits associated with your condition
When you go in for an operation the Specialists will explain the risks and what is their expectations of the operation, this now is normal practice as it all comes down to patients choice and if the risks are worth taking regarding the procedure they are going to undertake on you. You will sign a form before the operation that is the formal permission that you agree to have that procedure.
It all comes down to patient choice and their understanding of risk.
Please do not worry, I have a sedation soon and I have had my chat and have had this talk with the specialists involved in my care. This now happens every time when a invasive procedure is undertaken, I will also have to sign my agreement before the sedation
Ah thanks Bob. I think thankfully it is a pretty minor cut out lump under local anaesthetic, he wasn't keen to loosen the ligaments as requested by Rheumy yet as they haven't a diagnosis but he said he might in the future. Have a good day and hope your meds you have soon help too Axxxx
