Well here we go again. Yesterday i saw my consultant who told me my ra is stable by my bloods anyway. He is not putting me back on Cimzia as i have had to have antibiotics and as cimzia is a toxic drug he doesn't want me on it. Great i thought. I asked him why am i in so much pain and my joints are swollen.He has decided to get my hands scanned and get me some psychio on them as well and as to the swollen ankles he is going to get me some compression stockings.
Anyway i spoke to my rheumy nurse who suggested i look up Chronic Fatigue and what do you know that is exactly what i am feeling.Just great another blooming diagnoses to add to the list. So i am now back to square one with the pain. I am to see my dr. in three weeks time after consultant has sent him a letter about treatment.He wants me to have some patches of some sort,as long as they are not morphine i don't care. Morphine makes me funny.
So if i have a busy day eg; getting things sorted for this wedding on Tuesday i am going to suffer all the next day and beyond. Great just what i wanted to hear sadly. My rheumy nurse is more forthcoming on things and i can talk to her more easily,though my dr. is very good he doesn't have her touch.
Well i hope you all have a good day and best of luck to all you lovely people doing strictly i look forward to seeing how you all get on.I am now glad i couldn't take part as i would be too tired sadly,so please keep me amused with your stories.xxxxxx

Oh dear Sylvie, I'm so sorry to hear you're suffering like this....my heart goes out to you. I hope you manage to enjoy some of the wedding...maybe afterwards just stay in bed until you feel recovered.
I'm sure all the shenanigans of Strictly will keep you giggling! Take care of yourself and will be thinking of you on Tuesday. Big hugs xxx
Sorry you are suffering but please don't over do things before Tuesday or you wont enjoy the day. Hope everything goes well, I'm sure it will. Have a wonderful day, I hope the sun will shine on you all, ( I have ordered it !! ) Rest,rest and more rest after the big day !!!
I am always tired these days. I have been very busy getting the house ready for the wedding. I will finish it tomorrow all being well,then on Saturday Andreea's parents are flying in and they are staying here with us.So i will spend time with them. Today i have finished the cake for them and i have also cleaned the bathroom,so that is another job done. I will rest over the weekend ready for the wedding on tuesday. My outfit is ready and it will be just my hair to do on the day and my hairdresser is coming to do that for me. I think i will be early to bed tonight to rest. I will bath and rest in bed and watch the tv. I rest better in bed. Thank you all for your kind wishes.xxxx
Best of luck for the wedding, I'm sure it"ll be a fabulous day xx
I'm really sorry to hear about this Sylvi :-{ I'm another one who just gets crippled by the fatigue. It seems to go in phases and after the two surgeries I've had so far this year it is really making itself felt - at the moment I just don't know when I'm going to get back to work. Going to bed early and resting as much as possible over the weekend sounds like a plan, after that the excitement will carry you along:-}
Dear Sylvia, poor poor u. Fatigue is not greatly understood is it? After the interview this week I was fatigued out for 5 hours. Fortunately I didn't get the job. But explaining or justifying yourself ,"yes I know I seem better, " but , etc in itself is sooo. tiring!
Concentrate on the important things, anything else is just a bonus!
Well the house is now ready to receive visitors and me and hubby are whacked out.Good job we are eating out tonight as we are both tired and i think hubby has shut his eyes as we speak.He can fall asleep on a pinhead,unlike me i can't. I am resting now i know the worst of it is over now. Thank you for your kind words.xxxx
Sweet Sylvi, my thoughts are wth you. good to rest through the weekend, no matter how better you might feel and want to go do something. You have worked hard to get to this point, so enjoy the rest, admire your accomplishments and look forward to the big day. It will all happen as it should on Tues, so then you can join in and enjoy, recupe again later! Love you, L.xx
