Well what a palaver, already i have had messages from members via f/book who can't get logged in and can't see the site. I can't access this now only via chrome and i get no notifications either. It won't come up on my browser now.
The concept was a good idea, but in doing so you have missed a vital point, you have alienated a lot of older members who are not up on all this new technology and they won't know what to do to be able to access this site also they have computers which are not the latest editions so straight away they have been lost to this site. I know there is going to be teething problems but this is rather extreme. Also i am not getting any notifications on my outlook account of my email. If this becomes too much of a problem then i will not be using the site. There are loads of other sites on f/book i can look into if i so desire. I really do want to stay with h/unlocked,but if this is going to be an ongoing battle to get onto it i won't bother.....

Lora you asked for our responses to the new look and this is just to say that I too am having login trouble. I will keep at it for a while but have tried to reset my password and it says this is invalid so I'm struggling a bit.
I know many of us change but change in the middle of a heatwave with people who use the site while in pain is bound to lead to a certain amount of tetchiness. I'm sure we will get used to it eventually but personally I find it very confusing having to scroll down to the end of a thread to read comments in chronological order. It involves reading back to front and I so much prefer to read comments in historic order from top to bottom rather than the other way around. Tilda

I meant to write many of us are wary of change!
Morning Sylvi, You will see that I have posted that I have had trouble keeping myself logged in, I think that is due to my error and not the site. It's just a case of having to learn our way around the site. When we have done this it will be like 'old hat' and wondered what we are moaning about now. Yes we are not receiving the emails but that will be sorted no doubt, have you gone and looked at your profile and updated that as I found that was a good way of learning the new tools of the site. There is so much more there than there used to be in one place rather than a couple of other places. No doubt this time next week, we ill be wizzing around the place.
I will send you a quick pm to see if you can find that one!
Sylvie, I too am having terrible problems. It keeps logging me out every time I click on something! It wouldn't let me in on Internet explorer 10 , so I downloaded Firefox. I can get it on that but at the moment it's too much hassle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, it has taken me hrs to discover the log in at the "box "on the top right. You can hardly follow everyone's threads. Tried to put on a picture, will see if that's worked yet. No emails in the morning. Dtech not able to get on the site most of the time. I hope this all gets sorted out or someone replies to these problems. I am fairly computer literate but so far not too impressed with the new site, but of course will keep trying.
I'm really sorry if you've chosen to stop using the site. The problems are being resolved, so if possible I'd urge you to stick with it. If you are still using the site, to create a new blo you click on 'posts' (this is what the blogs are called now, as some people did not understand the term 'blogs') and click on 'create a post' at the top of the page.
Let me know if there's anything specific you're still having problems with. Hopefully I can let you know if that's just something that's been moved that I can tell you where to find, but I know HU are still in the process of fixing some things on here.
