I am only on day 2 but my daughter offered me a cigarette in the garden but I did turn it down, I know only a small win but still feeling pleased, although to be honest I don’t smoke much ( sometimes none) in the day it is the evenings I find harder.
Small win: I am only on day 2 but my daughter... - No Smoking Day
Small win
Well done Longlifecat. attacking the quit journey is a constant battle of simple small things like just that. One No Thanks and another No thanks and knowing that as they say Not One Puff Ever. One cigarette can be the end of a quit. We all think it won't but that is all it takes. Try and stay strong and slowly day after day you can win. My quit was after 46 years and even now my mind is still telling me that I would enjoy a smoke like the old days however, I realise that that would easily undo my 2 years I have got to. I have swapped the fags for obesity now hahaha so now I am attempting to have a go at that. Just keep reading and posting here. Controlling your mind I found was the battle. So stay as strong as you can and you will win and a big win it is.
Best wishes
