Just when I think I'm over the worst a craving will come on out of nowhere and I really struggle to keep it together.im trying to remember they'll come and go but the intense desire to smoke is sometimes really strong, i guess this is normal but will these ever go away?? Or is gonna be the new norm for any one who used to smoke!!.

I still have thoughts of wanting a cigarette. Thoughts instead of craving. After 16 mo I can say nope not today.

Yes Quitter they will go away in time. It has been almost eight months for me and I think about having one but don't crave one. Good luck and stay strong.
