Learning to write on deadline without smoking

HI everyone, here I am learning to write on deadline without smoking and while drinking mostly decaf coffee. Ugh.

I find I write really slowly, and am pretty distracted.... but the excruciating writers block from last month has somewhat lifted, and I am hoping to snap out of it as time goes on. It's a working weekend for me. Which used to mean a horrible amount of smoking and an equal amount of strong coffee, but now just means, a working weekend. Cheers!

Well done KatNL!I used to think that smoking would help to concentrate, and to ease moments of stress ...it was only an unecessary bad, unhealthy habit.

I ,like you managed to reduce the too many coffees in a day.But not decaf,i drink less in number, but i try to have a good one in the morning, one in the afternoon.keep it up you are doing great!

Hey KatNL - good to read things are settling down for you on the writing front. 3 months smoke free now, how is 'the damn patches' going?

Thanks for asking. Things are a bit better. I woke up this morning, and for the first time since I quit smoking I didn't feel tired. I did put a patch on today but I waited until 2. Tomorrow I will wait till 230 etc....Or maybe I just wont put it on at all. Im getting there anyway
