Does it count as a month when you started your quit in the shortest month?

I quit February 3, but whether that counts as month or not is just gravy. As I plunder through this never-ending winter (I live in one of the coldest parts of the continental US), I report one more major bonus for being a non-smoker - warm hands. I walk a lot, even when it is cold, but smoking doesn't allow for mittens, only gloves, which are never enough in these frigid temps. My fingers are soooooooo much happier these days.
