New me: OMG I have just signed up for the... - No Smoking Day
New me
Hey Monica1969 - It is brilliant you are getting fit and easing off the alcohol but be careful that you don't crash and burn with trying to take on too much and put unnecessary pressure on yourself - not smoking should be your priority at this early stage - gradually work on getting healthier and fitter as you get stronger in your journey.
Hi Roisin, I’m going to be hitting my 4 month mark soon and after stopping smoking I feel I need a new challenge. To be honest, being single with a 19 and 21 year old, I’m bored so I want to push myself. Challenging myself keeps my mind on other things than smoking 😃
Good for you Monica1969 - was going from my experience - hitting 3 years smoke free next week and finally at the stage of being healthy and happy within myself as tried within the first year of my journey and put alot of pressure on myself that I took a step back and gradually got there. Still have a bit to go to reach my target but happy as never thought I would be an ex smoker
Oh I understand where you are coming from and I really do appreciate your advice, you have experienced this so you understand me.
I want to lose this 2 stone I’ve put on and the running I hope will help as I don’t do any exercise. I only managed half of the run but at least I tried, I’m proud of myself, it’s been a tough year, I want to end it a happy one 😃
Hi there... U can read my previous posts if it helps , as I have given up drinking too.
