Hello all, and my apologies for how much I've been nagging on but I need to nag yet again. Day was going pretty swimmingly cleaned out my house and my car lots of air freshener and chewing gum and of course vaping. I went to the store got some fancier supplies so that they would last longer. Everything was gravy even being around my mom who smokes around me( and it would feel disrespectful to ask her to figure out something else. We went to watch a show for girls night and it was a lot of fun until the very end. I started coughing and couldn't catch my breath and the hard I tried to breath the worse it for and I was trying to go outside to make it end but the show was over and so everybody was leaving and then I started crying. I've had panic attacks before but never so publicly and a very nice lady was talking me through it but then I realised people were staring and I just started crying my mom told someone that I quit and the excitement and the quit together were probably to much . Next thing i know I have four packs of cigarettes in my face because everyone is just trying to help and I politely decline but my hands shook for two hours afterward and I can't sleep either. I guess it's what I get for being so cocky about getting yesterday but I did , I freaked out. I have some lavender infused earl grey that I am gonna sip on in hopes of calming down enough to sleep but I was wondering if anyone else went through and what coping mechanisms did you use?

Well I can't say day two was a completely pleasant experience.
Hey cashierlady, sorry to read of your terrible panic attack experience. I get them occasionally when very anxious and is the worst feeling ever. For immediate action I would do deep breathing inhaling and exhaling for for 10 seconds until breathing returns to normal. Sip on cold pint glass of water and wiggle your toes while sipping on the water. For long term, head to your local health food shop for some herbal supplements to help with anxiety etc... let them know you have stopped smoking. 💧🍶
Above all, don't be disheartened as these feelings are perfectly normal withdrawals at the moment. Oh the coughing is normal too. Try a bitof raw honey (jar will do too) every morning and evening to help clear out the lungs 🍯
Huge well done also on resisting the 4 packs of cigarettes 🚭
