I have not got a cough but I'm bringing up green flem quite a lot I got diagnosed with emphysema 6 years ago could I have cancer I've also lost a bit of weight

its the time of year where bugs attack ,sounds like the horrible chest infection.

you should visit your doc,probably need antibiotics.

I wouldn't worry about the c word,

Definitely go to the doctors if you're worried. Persistent green phlegm is normally a symptom of a secondary bacterial infection after a respiratory infection, such as a cold. Lung cancer is always proceeded by a persistent dry cough, so it's unlikely to be that.

Hello Justkate1967 , thank you for your post - I think you may be in the incorrect community for your concerns as this is a community for support and advice on quitting smoking. Like others have said, it could be a chest infection but would need professional medical advice.
