Thanking you for your post, you must be worrying all the time, this could be a simple chest infection, a quick to see the doctor, will ease your mind I'm sure you would feel mentally better, after seeing a health professional.
Wishing you well, and sending positive thoughts and hugs your way.
hi Justkate1967
its the time of year where bugs attack ,sounds like the horrible chest infection.
you should visit your doc, probably need antibiotics.
I wouldn't worry about the c word,
you take care 😁
keep kicking 😎
Definitely go to the doctors if you're worried. Persistent green phlegm is normally a symptom of a secondary bacterial infection after a respiratory infection, such as a cold. Lung cancer is always proceeded by a persistent dry cough, so it's unlikely to be that.
Hello Justkate1967 , thank you for your post - I think you may be in the incorrect community for your concerns as this is a community for support and advice on quitting smoking. Like others have said, it could be a chest infection but would need professional medical advice.
There is also another community here on HealthUnlocked that may be helpful to you, especially with your diagnosis of emphysema and any concerns you may have. Wishing you the best.
