Hey everyone I finally stopped the yo yo of stop start, stop start, so I'm now back didn't want to admit failure. I smoked my last cigarette 7 days, 6 hours ago. I finally got my surgery which was a week ago in a few hours hence the cold turkey stop and I came out of hospital yesterday. I'm in a lot of pain and to be honest I don't even want a cigarette , I did have a come and go crave moment yesterday but it was just that. I will do everything to protect my quit as I'm not risking my back surgery failing plus I want all this pain to be worth it.

Good luck with your recovery and your quit Claire. My quit also coincided with (foot) surgery so I know what you mean. Though since it helped force me to quit, so it had a bright side.
