Hang tight, ride it through you can get past this you can!!!! Those craves do indeed become weaker and weaker, smoking addiction is hard to break, it's mr nico playing with your mind please don't give in.

Smoking does nothing but harm, you've come this far, just keep going, I promise it will get easier.

You know you want to stay quit, so be ready for battle, do any thing just don't smoke

Poor you, it's probably the death throes of Mr nic, don't let him win, he will lay down and die soon

Are you winning? Six hours is a really long time - they won't always be like that! Go stu, you can DO this :)

Hey Stu, Hope you were finally able to put that nasty crave where it belongs – in the trash can!!!

Its awful enough when they hit, let alone go that long:confused: Here's to tomorrow being a nice no crave day:)

Six hours is a long time. What are you doing to keep yourself busy? If at all possible, you should try to spend some time outside in the fresh air. Also, drink plenty of water in small sips. Other than that, think of activities that keep your mind busy. Too much time dwelling on smoking is bound to be uncomfortable. Read a book, play a computer game, call a friend... Anything that distracts you for as long as possible.

Well I was at work for the majority of the time, when I'm bored I usually sneak off for one but can't do that anymore haha.

Hi Stu

I can relate to what your saying, I started my crave this afternoon at 1.30 it is now 6.30 some of mine just don't let up.

Don't you love it when most articles say hang on your crave will only last 5 -10 mins :0) wonder if these peopke use to be smokers themselves ?

pretty easy weekend, no cravings, on to week 4 tomorrow :)

phew, so happy!!! - was beginning to worry about you:) Here' s to a well deserved, quite week 4....

Well done Stu you did it good for you, week 4 will be better than week 3 :0)

I have been known to still take a break at work by going for a walk round the block and eating a carrot in the early days, now just going for a stretch and walk.......actually as we all should from time to time whether we smoke or not, especially if sat down at a computer all day. It is just bad in every possible way not to.

Well done for coming through the crave, the thought crave that is, because at Wk4 you're past the physical withdrawal I believe.

I wonder if you're still seeing it as enjoyable. I still do from time to time. Especially as in your other posts when having a drink. It's a mind shift to thinking that we can enjoy ourselves, or relax, or be assertive........or whatever.............without the smoke. But slowly, piece by piece, we are doing this.
