Excellent work TT :) keep it going x

A HUGE well done from me too. :)

Was looking on here for you yesterday and woke up this morning to see your post. A very well done to you. I feel its going to be a good day x

All that lovely money isn't it fantastic, doing great.

Amazing!!! Keep doing what you're doing!

Thank you for all the best wishes and support, wouldn't be here without you!

See another day done, blooming wonderful,

Nice one Tracey.

I had a slightly more prolonged urge this evening, but it did pass. So the retraining of the brain continues whilst on the champix course.....

Hitting the end of Day 34 shortly after lunch tomorrow!

Not smoked over 700 cigs now, sick!

Fantastic TT

Pleased to see you doing so well TT.

Thanks Tea, Sal

Day 40 in the bag!

You are doing sooooo well

Rocking, TT. Already approaching your half-century. How fantastic is that? :D

Thanks girls, feeling wicked right now!

Well done, and saving all that money just makes it that little bit sweeter

I couldn't agree more with you SL!

Haven't smoked over 850 cigs now, that number gets more and more ridiculous every day ;)

My app also says that I have gained over 3 days worth of time as well - mad!

I'm sure the poor lady at the stop smoking clinic is getting fed up with me visiting her once every week religiously to blow into the carbon monoxide measuring gizmo......

.......still, hoping for the best n planning for the worst!

You are the man TT :)

Seriously well done so far, you are totally on top of this - it's a great feeling isn't it? :)

Nice one Mal, it certainly does!

She won't TT, not if she's anything like my lovely lady was (and still is- I pop by to say hello every now & again). She really mothered her quitters and I believe was truly delighted to add another 'O' or '1' in the chart when I trotted back to see her & blow in the machine each week. I bet your lady is just the same. :)

You get a lovey 'sustificate' when you complete the 12 weeks you know. I still have mine displayed proudly on the cupboard door. :D

Thanks guys. So far so good. Seem to be getting into some kind of rythem now. But guard is up as always.

Well, she's not available for me tomorrow :(

And my readings are usually up at 6/7, reckon my system has learned how to produce the carbon monoxide all by itself. Looking forward to this sustificate tho ;)

Good to see you and great to hear you're still going for it. Keeping your guard up is pretty much the name of the game from here on in, as long as you stay aware he's got NO chance of ambushing you. Great work TT, hope you're proud of yourself :)

Thanks Kat! I have a long way to go still before I start claiming to be an ex at this. Still counting how many I haven't smoked, money saved, etc

Well done TT you are doing fabulous x

A..shame she's not available...and don't worry about the 6/7 readings. My lovely nurse told me that some people naturally blow higher than others. One of her colleagues, who has never smoked, always blows a 4. It also depends on your working environment and on whether you are exposed to traffic fumes regularly, etc. In addition, the machines aren't always calibrated very accurately.I bet it comes down gradually.

You're doing fantastically well by the way and will definitely deserve your sustificate not to mention your place in the Penthouse in the not so very distant future. :)

Thanks! My girl called me yesterday, so weekly routine maintained just didn't get a chance to blow into the gizmo. Will do next week tho :)

Not worried about the gizmo score, i heard the same thing about traffic exhaust fumes etc. Just like the weekly routine until I'm done with the champix course.

It is you know. But as I've felt like this on the prev two quit stints, so I gotta stay grounded and forever on guard for long good while.....

8 weeks in the bag over 500 squid saved!

Super news. So much money saved but even better is that your lungs are healing well done x

Fantastic TT- really getting those revs going now! :D

Thank you all!

Hahaha hahaha

Had a craving after being on a work call for a couple of hours today, was ok to get past it but, wtf, these are always gonna crop up aren't they?

This is great to read, Nasty crave got no where with you!!!!!

What I can say is the longer the quit the weaker the crave, it does take a little while to adjust, but golly gosh, this is going to be the year that counts for you.

Just keep going, it will get easier, with the resolve of the forum, behind you, you can do it.

Fantastic

It's really true TT. As Tracey and Kat say, the longer the quit the weaker and less frequent the craves. In fact, they don't really qualify as craves after a certain point. It's more like a fleeing ghost of a memory if that makes any sense.

You're doing fab- you really are. And every crave beaten is a crave you will never have to encounter again. :)

Thanks guys, I think I was more pissed off with the nature of the call I was on than the fleeing ghost of a memory, passing thought, of a crave :)

.....and sorry about the language, thankful for the auto censorship ;)

Well done for walking through it. Don't dwell over it, see it for what it was and its now gone. The next lousy work call you are on the crave will probably not happen at all or it will be a whisper compared to this one. That's the way this demon dies. It only lives on if we pay it any attention and start thinking about it....... hope that makes sense from silly Gerti who should be neck and neck with you but I sadly fell over and am now way behind you my friend. xx

Thanks Gerti!
