Hey we're on day 8 and we're really struggling. We've been looking in to ecigarettes because we feel if we don't do something then we're just going to smoke. It has gotten more difficult the past three days than the first few!
If anybody can give us any advice on these it would be greatly appreciated. Do they help you quit?

From what other users have posted I would say that if used as a quit aid, not a replacement, this can be an effective method as long as you reduce the nicotine slowly just like NRT patches & gum. I would be wary though, you're through the first week and it will start getting a bit easier soon so don't jump in blind, weigh up all the pro's and con's first, perhaps there's another method out there which would work for you
I am one of those who have used an ecig to help me quit. I used it as a form of NRT and gradually lowered the nicotine level and my usage. I stopped using it just over 5 months into my quit and haven't looked back since! I think they are brilliant if used correctly.
Good luck with your quit! Feel free to pm me if you have any questions
i would also say it may not be the best to start NRT now that you have made it over a week cold turkey.
mid way through my quit i picked up a nicotine/tabacco free e cigerette which i use here and there, i think that could be a good option for you too it helps!
Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm using champix anyway but we picked some ecigs up this afternoon and it's so much easier already and I think it will definitely help us quit, I guess it doesn't matter which method we use.
I bought the ecig and used it once yesterday. Since then I have had cravings but just knowing it's there if I need it has made me feel much better and I haven't actually used it. I've also been reading horror stories about champix and the moodiness and rage and how it can almost alter your personality so now I think I'd like to come off it.
