I have been smoking for last 8 years and had successfully quit twice, stayed smokefree for 6 months on both occasions but the stress and my emotions taking my relationship made me fall back again.
Here I am once more after 4 years of last attempt.Need all your support.
I have bought this E cigarette which is helping so far today.
Any tips please?

I need support this time as I am soon tying the knot and want to start a healthy life with my hubby and have a smoke free enviornment for my future babies
Hi there and welcome! I quit using an e cig and found that it was brilliant. There are mixed views on here about ecigs though. I think as long as you are using it as a form of NRT then you will be fine. I used mine for about 5 months (reduced nicotine level and usage throughout that period). It wasn't that bad to get rid of it completely either.
Best of luck with your quit and shout when you need us!
How exciting! When are you planning to tie the knot?
I think everyone on the forum would agree that there is no right or wrong way to quit. Whatever works for you is the way to do it. You've two previous quit attempts (and good long ones too!) under your belt so you can draw on your experiences to help you make this the final quit. You'll get heaps of advice, support and fellowship from everyone here.
Hi Sadie - I'm on day 9 and using the e-cig, it's made the quit so much more bearable and really does counter the anxiety, depression, irratibality of quiting cold turkey.
You girls are so amazing Jenny , Debbie thank you for the encouragement.. Are we allowed to keep babies in penthouse ?
sjt13 : wow I am so moved to know that you did manage to quit usng e cig.
It s my second day now , morning was super hard for me because the first thing I used to do after waking up was to lit a damn cancer stick i always hated my action but i was mesmerized by the act (ewww)
my throat is a little soar today maybe its adjusting with e cig.. i am realizing that i wasnt that dependent of cig but the habit made me do it.
I was watching a movie last night and in an intense emotional scene i craved for the cig.
so i think my emotional baggage relates to smoking and i would love to get rid of both.
I am so excited, the added benefit is my skin will look a lot better than it is currently after four months (hopefully)
I am getting married to my childhood crush who was in love with me as well but I didnt know until after 15 years our paths crossed again and this time we both spoke up
I had a series of failed relationships that led me to smoke heavily for last 8 years, and i feel like now is the time to make peace with myself and get rid of all the past and habits related to it.
TG's tip about drinking lots of water not only helps with the craves but does wonders for your skin so you will be doing yourself a favour on both fronts.
You hold on in there Sadie and you'll look a million dollars at your wedding.

How lovely is that! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding and also for starting your quit, good luck! xxxx
As you can see from my name, we are on the same page. Can't help with the e-cig. Since you've done this before you know all you have to to is keep your eye on the prize, and before long it gets much better. Good luck!
My hair smell good my clothes do not stink my skin has already started showing glow .. thank you debbieh for the tip I attribute this change to water.
and trust me when I say my house doesnt stink at all!!! I cant describe how it feels.. its a wonderful feeling.. my sense of smell is much better now as well... I realised it last night when the late night breeze touched my face that I have been so unappreciative of the fine things in life and I was stuck to this nauseating smell it felt like I was possessed by a demon and now I am breaking free.. so I bought myself flowers after a long time and I can actually smell the soft scent they emit..I am just in love with this new me and the things around me..
I hope I stay strong and I will ! with the help of you guys.
Now E-cig, its a life saver! I tried to go cold turkey before but thats just not me, will power isnt my strongest suit ! only down side of e cig is that i have this bad throat but I think it has to do with the change in the weather as summers are approaching in my part of world .
I should start a personal blog on this forum as I am no longer Day 1er. YAY!!!
I thank you all for being there for last two days, I couldnt do it alone!!!
