You have a brilliant mindset right there, a winning mindset!!
Good news that Jenny :)
It is one of the things that is hard to describe, that after a while you can be with smokers and have no desire at ALL to have one,and be stressed out and yet have no thought of smoking-somehow once you have quit for long enough, the illusion that smoking is good fades away to nothing
It's a flipping amazing feeling.
Was a bit nervy about doing it yesterday but I sat out with a friend at work while she had her ciggie and I had my drink and it was just like "ooh I used to smoke" but the smell was er, not appealing!!
Hi Jenny, I too ate copious amounts of fruit at the beginning of my quit, the trouble is I ate loads of everything Keep sipping ice cold water and try other methods of distraction, you will soon have the stinky git beat
Hello! I stopped smoking at 8pm last Thursday, im in England! Anyway i think i have ADHD and have been self medicating with nicotene.... I cannot focus on a single thing, my head is spinning, i am shaking, cannot really sit still, it feels like i am literally going mad.... did anyone have these kind of withdrawals? Im really concerned that i have a mental condition, its really unsettling. Other than this i have much better skin, breathing, and generally do not want to go back to that old dirty feeling of being a smoker, it was damaging my body so much..... Any support on this forum would be great.... im all on my own, cold turkey, with an ongoing health condition too...... Thanks for all the positive posts i have read....... love and light
