I managed a 3 month quit a couple of years ago but started smoking again during a summer holiday in Spain where I stupidly thought I could smoke during the holiday then quit again when I got home - needless to say it never happened
So I'm back again, on day 6 and am determined this is my final quit.
Good luck to everyone else in these early stages

Hi, well done you for coming back with determination!
Hey Blondie72. Thanks for your tips - today I bought a pack of 3 lozenges from Asda £9 on your recommendation ! Reading through the posts I see you and I quit on the same day, so we are both now on DAY 8.
Good on you for your determination, just when I think it's a bit easier it hits me again, but you and I have done it for 8 days now and if we've done 8 days we can do another 6 and make it two weeks smokefree.
I shall be following you closely.
I.m stocked up on nibbles now (crisps, sweets, cheese) never bothered with them before as I'd have a fag instead !
Stay strong Blondie, and everyone else on here. All good wishes, x
