Hi guys,
Just a quick catch up really
I'm now close to eight months and am loving being a non-smoker!
I've recently had an operation and am seeing the benefits constantly. Not having to get up and hobble outside on my crutches every hour is definitely a major bonus at the moment!
I've been spending a bit more time on the forum recently and have noticed that the more I'm here the more positive I am. It's like the little boost you don't realise you need until you have it (if that makes sense).
I'm doing my best to convert the OH at the moment I really don't mind his smoking. It isn't often and I feel as though being around it has cemented my own quit, but he's what you would call a social smoker and so will admit himself that there is really no need. He is one of those smokers who can say no so easily, unless he has a pint in his hand. So I think that, when he chooses to stop, it might be a bit more difficult to keep him on track on a Friday night!
I hope you're all happy Sometimes there aren't enough positive posts on here, so shout up and show the newbies how great it is to be free of the nicotine demon! Xxx
