Hi - day 2 for me too with the help of an E-Cig.
Smoked for 34 years since the age of 13 and know it's the right time to quit for good. Great words of encouragement on this forum and I know I'll be a regular user!

Welcome to the forum Elpress and well done for quitting!!
Welcome Elpres, great that you've decided to quit, it's the best thing you could ever do for yourself And congratulations to getting to day 2 already. Post whenever the need arises and we will be behind you every step of the way.
My son is using an e cig and I sometimes have the odd puff on it when I get the urge for that draw, he is finding it great so keep with it.
Well done you.

Thanks for your comments.... it's been a tough day so far with regular frequent cravings!!
I would recommend gum, sweets (avoid Sugar free as they can give you unbelievable bloating, wind and trips to the loo) puzzle books, screaming, punching pillows and my personal favourite, 30 seconds of jumping jacks, by the end of 30 seconds I was so puffed out I'd forget about having a cig altogether. Good luck
Well done on getting to Day 2, and welcome to the forum. You have come to the right place, everyone on here is fab!
I like the Elvis comment it gave me a laugh and temporarily took my mind off of the evil weed!
Thanks for the encouragement - I'm pretty sure my alcohol consumption will decrease too, as I associate the 2 things together presently..... now that's a good thing too.
Cheers
Gavin
