Hang in there it will get better. I am ill now too after 2 weeks of not smoking but have been assured it is just my body getting back to normal and it will settle down and we will all be much healthier going forward!
Basically your body is probably getting ready to clear the muck out of your lungs, it won't be very nice (well it wasn't for me - was coughing tarry muck until I was sick) but it's important to get rid of that stuff.
You're still young so you'll repair yourself well!!
And a lot of us get colds when we quit too, not nice but it happens and they obviously don't last long.
Right, now i really really want a cig.......in the past when i have had a cough i have smoked and its cleared to cough....stooopid hey?
Lol, we were all amazingly stupid. I used to smoke menthols when I had a bad cold 'cos they "made my throat better" erm, yeah right :/
With all the coughs, colds and so on I had it never entered not to smoke - that's flipping daft too.
I am NOT giving in!!! No no no

Keep that thought Sophie, it's not quitting that's making you feel like this, it's smoking that did it to you in the first place!!
If you feel wobbly, hop on here and we'll hug/drag/nag you through it.
Hey Sophie, well done for Day 5. Like the others have said, things will get better eventually, just get through each day one day at a time...If it's any consolation, after me suffering with quit zits for the past 2/3 weeks, they've now gone only to be replaced by a whopping great cold sore
