Having a testing day...

My toddler has the combineed issues of hitting the terrible two's (I never realised when people ever said this how soddin TERRIBLE they were!)....so, hitting two plus molar teeth coming through, which has flared up his ezcema....plus a cold, plus eye infection.......AND viral infection.......its been going on for so long now.......

Today I took him to the park, as we're both fed up being indoors....he was fine....then we walked home ......... OMG!! WHAT A NIGHTMARE! He was screaming like I was beating him! wouldn't sit in buggy, but wanted to steer it instead.....into the paths of cars....threw a paddy in the middle of a residential area, just as mums were coming home from the school pick up, so I had a lovely audience as I struggle to pick him up.........literally was that advert where the child lays face down on the road thrashing arms and legs about!!

He carried on screaming all the way home......then whilst were home, he decided to throw everything possible at me!

ok, so I admitt......I WANTED TO SMOKE! Tears were in my eyes..........But, I walked away...hummed a tune to myself in the kitchen, whilst he wrecked the front room................................and breathe Tricia.........breathe!!

Have got through it.........just. Am shattered as couldn't sleep last night until just gone 3am (a lot on my mind at the moment), then BOOOOOOOM the screaming started at 6am!

My poor sausage really is suffering lately...........its so hard to stay calm though. It just seems non stop recently. But I didn't shout or scream back at him (hard though!).......he's now asleep on me........peace..........at last! AND STILL SMOKE FREE!

Sorry for long rant!!

stay strong.

Isha when you get through such stressful situations without caving, then you really know how to deal with it next time.

Im a classic example of caving into stress, but it solves nothing, puts you right back to sq 1 and all the withdrawel was for nothing.Been there, done that!!

Stay strong,you can do it!!:D

Thanks peeps.

I think it through, saying to myself....if I do have a cig, it won't make my son feel better, and won't make hime behave better.....so whats the point!

Why is it that nicotine 'seemed' to give relief? Did it give relief? is the brains reaction to nicotine relief?!

Just remember that smoking will not help your problem. It will only make it worse. I sympathise with you though, it is so hard.
