It could be that Shelley.
Do you know I have never had that clearing out thingy? I dont know why. I have never been one to have a cough even when I smoked. 8 months is brilliant though Shelley I cant beliEve how fast that has gone can you? It has been tough for you with all the symptoms you have had, but you have stuck with it and like you say it will be a smoke free Christmas for you.
If you feel like this doesnt clear up go and see your GP and get something for it, it could be the start of something like a cold or post nasal drip?
Hey Shelley. Could be that you have a cold. Dont know if you did this, but I never admitted to colds and sore throats because someone would always mention the smoking and I hated those conversations. As a result, I was really out of touch with my body, whatever happened, I thought the answer was a cigarette. Now if I a m tired I go to bed, if I am sad, I say so and if I am ill, I say so and go to bed. Small stuff, but it feels so different. And better. But if it is your lungs clearing out gunk thats great, nice clean pink bellows working away in your chest.
