2nd Day

I didn't smoke yesterday, I haven't so far today.

I keep on messing up, having a smoke going back to day one, it's really starting to annoy me.

My husband has also quit, he seems to be doing a lot better than me.

I am going to the smoking clinic tonight to get some patches or something as gonig cold turkey isn't for me it's too tough!!!

hey shash, nice one - you have got through 24 hours and are on your way to another - thats awesome! you should be really proud of that on its own :). Dont put any pressure on yourself and take every minute at a time, eventually you can take every hour at a time and then every day and week etc.....

Well done for reaching day two. As has Been said take it slow. The nurse at my GP who is helping me said if ya crumble and have one never see it a failure just a bump in the long road. Get over the bump and carry on ya quit.

It's a struggle but worth it in the end .

Over 36 hours since I last had a smoke, thats good for me

I am determined not to have a smoke, I want to do it this time.

I have just read of the awful story of Davo who was a much loved member of this forum, I remember the last two times I have tried to quit he has been there for me and made me laugh with his jokes.

RIP Davo, you make me want to fight harder!!!
