Hey guys, havent been here in a while, but now am back and was wondering, I quit smoking in June and havent looked back, (bar 1 minor slip up) but for the last week I have had this really strong overwhelming desire to smoke, has anyone else experienced this. I have no intention of going back on the old weeds, but cant get rid of this sensation??
Anyone any advice??

Could be that, could be a more subtle subconscious trigger - maybe a change in the weather? Something you're doing for the first time since quitting that you associated with smoking in the past? Low level stress?
All I can say is keep doing what you're doing, and it will pass. I had the odd couple of days here and there up to about six months, where that feeling would come along and I'd think about smoking lots. Revisit your reasons, keep your head in the right place and don't have a moment of madness - it will fade away and you'll be fine!
Hi Sab, I stopped in June too and strangely enough I really wanted to smoke at the weekend. The feeling went on and on all day and I had to stay home because I was afraid I'd buy a packet. That's the first time that happened to me so I'm hoping its a last ditch attempt from my subconscious to make me smoke. NO CHANCE
There is that weird 3 month phenomenum that a lot of quitters experience. Don't read so much of it on here but certainly on the USA forums it's well acknowledged.
Keep doing what you're doing - it obviously works.
