After thinking that the last 11 days have been not too much of a problem, i've just hit a wall.... huge argument and a storm out of the house with the dog in tow and a lengthy walk around a country park... complete irrationality, handle flying off.... urgggh!
No smoking, didn't even want one. It crossed my mind but then its like whats the point in wasting all this time. i just dont want to be angry over nowt.
Have other people been a little, well not to put too fine a point on it... competely irrationally crackers?
Pffft!

I've just been told off for telling our neighbour that one ring on the doorbell will do thanks, as he drives the dog crackers when he rings it over and over. The dog is a 7 st German Shepherd, and you fear for the front door.
My OH thinks I ought not to have said anything and when I was smoking I probably would not have mentioned it. Apparently it was to do with the tone in my voice.......
I am glad its not just me... i feel for you, our dog is a GSD/Collie cross... Guard the door... herd the cat.... lunge at the door.... herd the mail.... dont rip the.... oh crap... there goes half a cheque..... LOL!
We've had one of those card thingummies through that asks us to think of the poor mail woman, dog now gets the back of the house to roam in during the day.
The neighbour is lovely, but very deaf and he never listens to a word you say anyway. I spoke to him as though I was speaking to a naughty child at school according to my OH. I was just that mad that someone would come to the door and do that over and over when he knows it sets the dog into a frenzy. Bloody rude I think, and I'd just had enough!!
The dog, when he was a pup, was once battered on the nose with a letter by a postman. Ever since he goes nuts when he hears the van enter the village! We now have a box on the front wall for mail. But I recognise all the traits you mention xx
Yep, totally know how this feels! On previous quits, I would engineer rows so I had an excuse to smoke. I've got wise to my ways now but I am still generally angrier. Sucks, but it WILL pass. (and yes, obviously, I'm very up and down - positive right now but that might change in 20 minutes)
I still get angry now even into my 4th month.. I was very loudly sweeping me garden shouting "I'm suck ov theses bloody birds. And the mess on md garden" hoping that nxt doors cud here as she feeds the filthy pigeons.
Well I am normally a pretty easy going sort of person. Before N.S. I would have probably rolled my eyes, said FFS under my breath and smiled sweetly as I opened the door. Tonight I just had to tell him rather than have a whinge about it after he'd gone.
Yep, me too I find anger is the worst part of the quit for me and I hate feeling angry Got an upstairs neighbour who neglects his dog and it barks 24/7  so guess who was hammering on is front door 3am?? No prizes
Hope it gets better (and the dog shuts is gob lol :rolleyes
My lovely wife made my favourite comfort food: Pie and Mash with parsley sauce. Pastry was soft and light, mash seasoned well, the sauce was a little runny and for that reason the whole f******** lot was a nano-second from hitting the wall!
But I feel more balanced and sane than I thought I would:rolleyes:
Its crazy isn't it? the joys of the jeckell and hyde anti smoking monsters that we've all temporarily become.... chortle!!!
My latest one was being called unreasonable..... well you can imagine, i went off in a slightly unreasonable strop full of unreasonability and then had to laugh at myself later... yep.. fool woman....
So far I have got through today without upsetting anyone...even myself..Though I must say I am in floods tears at the mere mention of anything to do with Hillsborough, cruelty to children or animals, so am avoiding all news channels. I don't remember being quite as emotional before non smoking.
