Well here i am on day 2 2 days that i never thought would happen actually but here i am!
Not to bad today..the obsession with fags seems to be easing and not so many cravings as yesterday. I have a widget on my laptop that tells me how long and how much i saved and apparently i have saved £17 already but it was never about the money as much as me wanting to stop this horrible addiction.

Hi Mick..well done keep it up its a great feeling....wow £17 in 2days just think how much you will save in a month you will have to treat yourself...and I know its not about the money, but it helps lol, we are all addicts and we seem to find the money but dont realize just how much we spend on the dam things ...xxx
keep going Mick it gets better, easier and more comfortable and before u know it you'll wonder why u ever smoked as u bask in the glory of your new fitter richer chilled out deleriously happy self.
Well done Mick.Just keep on doing what you're doing and you'll get there. You mentioned complacency, that's my biggest fear and still with me some 74 days into my quit. I wonder when the transition from ex-smoker to non-smoker actually happens. Having pondered the matter over for the last 10 minutes or so and tried to put my thoughts into words I came to the conclusion does it matter as long as we don't smoke.
You keep piling up them smoke free days and I'll do the same and the debate will fade into insignificance.
