My son came round last night, he smokes roll ups & I made him go in the garden to smoke but it didn't bother me... Today I had dinner at my friends, I've been avoiding her for 2 weeks (I know i'm a coward ) Well today was great, we had a laugh like we always do, had a glass of wine & she smoked - I didn't even care yippeeee!! If anything it put me off more which shocked me. It's only been 2 weeks, 4 days but I already have more energy
So all good here for now woohooo!

Nice one Denise!
Since giving up (last month) every day seems to throw up another little challenge, something new for us to overcome and every time we do it only serves to make us stronger.
Well done on looking the demon in the eye and coming out unscathed!
It is strange because i too get strenght from being around smokers, i think its the i still want to be in your gang senario, but im not going to smoke. i always enjoyed the social side of smoking, standing out side with a total stranger but having the one thing in common. Although ive removed the common factor i still stand with people who smoke at break times at work now and again, not every day, but i find it helps because i can see them dragging away, and im think i used to be like that
Now im two months clear of my quit i enjoy looking at smokers because i feel sorry for them being adicted, being told what to do ever hour, knowing that ive broken the chain.
Dont get me wrong i still have cravings but they last next to no time. we find our selves in different situations that remind us of having a cigarette.
Capitan (Gary) said some thing to me the other day on here, "that the only way to fully know that weve made it through every possible situation is to get to the Penthouse, this is my goal. The hurdles that are in my way from day one to day 365 are just sent to try me.
I cant stress enough and its helped me time and time again, Is N.O.P.E.
Not One Puff Ever.
Its working for me.

365 days is good advice.
Although I am no way going to be complacent ever again!
Why isn't this idiot banned yet? Surely his broken so many forum rules by now? And his also annoying the he'll out of people who don't need his cr*p during quitting NICOTINE!!!
