So far on my first day, I've actually had very few cravings - and I was expecting them to occur every fifteen minutes.
However, for the last 2-3 hours, I've been extremely lightheaded. At one point, I was experiencing a tingling sensation in my left arm, which actually had me Googling to see whether I should be going to the ER or something.
While the tingling has pretty much gone away, I'm still pretty lightheaded or groggy. By way of background, I was pretty restless last night and got literally about 2 hours sleep before a conference call this morning, then I had a nap of about 90 minutes, and then I had another nap of about three hours, so I guess my sleep thing is all messed up - and that might be contributing to the lightheadedness.
Anyway, cravings, not so bad. Lightheadedness, not so good.
My heart goes out to you. I'm now into day 52/53. However my early days were hell; very similar to your own. In bed,out of bed walking the streets you name I think I had it. The tingling in the limbs etc,etc. I think I had every symptom know to man and others not yet recorded. The sleeplessness was so bad I went to my doctor, who athough sympathetic was very reluctant to prescribe sleeping pills but did prescribe 7 days supply eventually on two seperate occassions with the proviso "no more".
However I've made progress with the help of N.R.T. and going to cessation classes and have been nicotine free as I mentioned above some 52/53 days.
So happy to hear you have stopped the dreaded weed but sad to hear that your experiencing light headedness etc. When i look back at my quit i can remember feeling like you, i was on champix too but even when stopping i felt weird so much so that on one occasion i nearly fell down the stairs and as for sleep that was messed up but only for a few days. I know its the chemicals leaving our body as we have pumped thousands in everyday and now we are removing them and thus for a while its like a detox we are clearing our bodies for the better.
Stick with it as it will get easier. Get a hobby, go for a walk. Try relaxing bathes etc anything. I know you can do this.

Just to let you know, I wasn't suffering a heart attack after all. Just plain old light headedness from the nicotine withdrawal I guess.
I feel MUCH better now, and I've earned the right to start talking about Day 2 now, because I made it through Day 1 successfully.
I have insomnia tonight, but I ALWAYS have insomnia, so I can't blame that one on the quit. I just have problems getting my brain to turn off for the night. Once I fall asleep, I'm fine.
Anyway, thanks again for all the great support and ideas. Other than the lightheadedness, Day One was NOT as horrible as I dreaded. It was doable.

Well done mate. I'm exactly at the 24hr mark myself. I have also been light headed today but mainly after about 18hrs.

If you did Day One successfully, Day Two will be a (relative) breeze. Each day is just a little easier, as a rule. So, go knock Day Two out of the park!
As for the lightheadedness, as I recall, I had another episode of it somewhere about Day Four, which wasn't as bad as the first day, but was still there.
