Disturbed sleep is a very common experience. How long it goes on for varies a lot, but most people seem to recover within the first few weeks. Personally, I am still not sleeping properly... There are some good herbal remedies that can help.
Congratulations on reaching day 10. Sorry, I can't help with the sleep issue, like Dorset I'm often tired and can sleep too much.
I've read somewhere if you can't sleep, get up and sit on an uncomfirtable chair in the dark until you're sleepy again. Sounds a bit harsh. Don't know if you want to try that?!

haha this made me laugh i am sure that would work u would be so fed up and uncomfortable it would be easier to go to bed
hahaha remings me of Monty Python but that was a comfy chair LOL!.
Sorry, I have big problems with insomnia...I dunno how to deal with it either. I get it everytime I quit...but;
1). If you use patches...I'd take them off at night if you can...the patches can cause insomnia...take them off an hour before bedtime (again only if you can without sacrificing your quit).
2). Cut down on caffeine, apparently a smoker can metabolise caffeine quicker than a non-smoker. If you try to drink the same amount of caffeine as when you smoked you're never going to sleep.
3). Apart from that I know nothing....maybe Nytol, ?exercise. Like I said I suffer too so if you find out any tips could you please share them with me. Thanks Lisa. X
