I am on Day 20 and am feeling much like you, but I was okay for a few days before that, so don't let me get you down I think it is a week 3 thingy cos I have heard other people say the same thing at this time. So don't let it get you down, we are going through a process and its prob best to see it as such but very hard at the time phew:eek: Just so glad I have survived today.
Today has been a very rough day and am just glad to get through it. Know I won't smoke tonight yaaay feels good
It bloody awful tho isnt it!!?! was even thing about going to the docs & asking for some antidepresants!! OMG SNAP OUT OF IT!!
I only taking nicorette gum 4mg!!??
Might make an appointment with the smoking nurse, to see if anything else i can take..
I seen a thread about someone taking kalms to get of the anxiety? U tried these?
thanks for your reply - it is appricated!

Don't think you will need antidepressants and doubt doctor would give them to you for smoking quit. Tell him if you feel badly depressed though and at once. I think this thing takes longer than we expect it to, but we won't feel bad forever, if it was always like this nobody would quit smoking!! So stay strong buddy, tomorrow is another day an prob easier than today.
I think all your symptoms are pretty much normal for a quit. The shaky bit could be down to low blood sugar (nicotine increases your blood sugar) Dreams seem pretty common whatever method of quitting people use. As Zoe mentioned though, don't let the depression get too far, a little depression/tearfulness is normal, quitting can be like a bereavement so expect similar emotions but don't let yourself sink too far without getting support.
I think we all suffer good and bad days but the trick is to stick with it. All these things will come to pass eventually for all of us. You've done brilliantly so far, keep it up and be proud of yourself
Think yesterday I felt abit alone & no one to talk to about how i was actually feeling about this bloody BIG quit! My partner quit same time & has hardely any withdrawls!
This site is really helpful for me, once you read some of the threads & the comments people put! I just thought I was going mad or round the twist!! it is actually quite comforting in my mind that other people feel the same way! lol (even tho it is s*** for us all)
I always used smoking in stressful situations & its really wierd not having a fag!! Suppose i'll get used to it, cos i aint smoking no more!! The money Im saving is great & i am (suppose) getting healthier.
I really did not realise how difficult it is quit - Still dont like the anxious moments tho (and thinking its never going to go away)
Carry on everyone - u r doing a great job!! (oh & keep up the support :D)
