Ok...I keep getting tongue tied and can't quite get my words out. I am randomly putting sentences together with the words in the wrong order..anyone else experience this? I'll try and think of an example...if I can remember!!

Hi Loopyness,

I do but I am afraid I can't blame it on quitting. Its more that I am losing my marbles ;)

It could just be that because you have so much to think about that your brain is just finding it hard to cope. I know that sometimes I can be thinking about one thing and then smoking comes into my head and I seem to skip forward in the thought pattern I was thinking about before. It's as though I have a slight day dream in the middle.

If you are worried then speak to your doctor, but I think it is just the extra oxygen and trying to stay focussed.

Yeah I did suffer from this a little bit a week or two ago but it was just a short phase luckily :)

I get this as part of my regular depression. With nicotine being a stimulant maybe the lack/reduction of it is slowing you down slightly?

slurring early on

I found the same in the early couple of months - felt like I wasn't quite with it and slurring on times (not to do with drink I hasten to add) glad to say this has completely disappeared now so shouldn't last long for you.
