I picked up my inhalator end of last week to see if that would help my anxiety levels.
Problem is, that was end of week 3 only using inhalator very rarely.
Have had increased anxiety levels for 2 weeks now getting gradually worse. I took champix for 4 wks total, stopped them 2 weeks ago when started to feel weird.
Do you think I've made it worse by Using the Inhalator after a week completely nicotine free?

I'm simply not sure if you've made things worse by going onto an inhalator. Really that's for a doctor to give advice on and we aren't allowed to give medical advice for good reason.
Inasmuch, if you have been nicotine free and then re-introduce nicotine then it could be thought as a retrograde step. In some terms you could say it's a blip.
But, you are trying to manage this without all the anxiety. There will be some periods which are going to be stressful. We are afterall trying to get an insidious drug out of our systems. There are things you can do to try and lessen the effects and I keep banging on about having something to divert you. Sip water when you get an urge and carry a water bottle around with you.
Another big thing you could do is increase your intake of vitamen C. Apparently we as smokers depleted those levels and I hear that Cranberry juice is the current favourite. Another member once suggested that oats help with this. Steady now, I'm not mentioning getting your oats. I started to have porridge of a morning and whilst not being sure if it has cut down the anxiety it's a hearty winter breakfast.
No experience of this myself. I agree with all Marg and Cav say. Keep on going. Try and stay positive (says she whos had a recent major positive issue!) xx
Ok. Gave myself a shake-- after all this is a positive thing we are all doing -- took high strength vitamin c tab and probiotic multivitamins. Just going to have a sweet milky drink as that's supposed to be calming.
Feel much better now.
Tomorrow will be better than today! Sweet dreams x

Great stuff Carole,
Tomorrow will be better than today, but don't take anything away from today....
YOU DIDN'T SMOKE TODAY - WOO HOO
The wet fish - stay away from that as I suspect that's a Yorkshire quit smoking technique
